The Saturn Return is an astrological phenomenon that occurs at the ages of 27-30, 58-60, and finally from 86-88, coinciding with the time it takes the planet Saturn to make one orbit around the sun. It is believed by astrologers that as Saturn “returns” to the degree in which it occupied at the time of birth—approximately every 29.5 years—a person crosses over a major threshold and...

It’s called MySpouse it’s like MySpace but you only get one friend for the rest of your life and all your pictures have to be you holding a baby or something boring like that. This way I don’t have to see all that hot girls I used to like get married and show it off on Facebook. Am I right? Or am I right?

5th October, 2009
friend: Let us remember 5th of October, and a year from now, let's see how we look back upon this day.
voice inside head: (What if nothing happens? Which is a stupid thought, because things will definitely happen, but frankly, I'm both afraid and hopeful. I can't get rid of this sense of needing an absolution and yet fearing what sort of absolution that would be, or if there'd be any at all)
me: Oh, like in the movie just now? Something inconsequential/any other day turning out to be something that matters? (that was 500 days of summer btw; yes I finally watched it!)
friend: Not the movie, just the day. So that we have something to look back on.
*sigh* I feel like I'm at a crossroads, but there are no choices.
me: In hindsight, everything seems to fall together, or maybe we're simply making excuses for it. But let's believe the best.
voice inside head: (If anything, that's the only thing we can do. After all, we should really be grateful)
.
Then it continued into a conversation of some pretty depressing and amusing stories and how (as a consequence) we should be grateful for what we have, and that it's not wrong to expect to be better still. October always makes me worried and hopeful simultaneously. Are autumn kids always this confused? Or are we just a bunch of power trippers?
