Watching now.

Just watched a few days ago.
I’ve been drowning myself in entertainment lately. I feel very, very thankful indeed that despite having no decent full-time job at the moment, I’m able to spend my time in escapism which I can justify as being productive. (I mean, watching Japanese drama = improving my Japanese and in this case getting my dose of eye candy in the form of Tackey & Ryo; watching Harry Potter = just doing what a normal kid/HP fan would do, or rather, to inspire me into actually doing things. If nothing else, I’m inspired to start writing more. After I’m finished with the dramas, that is.)
More on Orthros no Inu: The plot itself is actually based on the tried-and-tested combi of the good guy ‘cursed’ with a fatal power, the bad guy ‘blessed’ with the power to save the world, and the ensuing struggles of morality between the two. I’m pretty sure Ryo (the good guy) will throw in the towel and turn bad, somehow (albeit unwillingly and later in desperation, probably) and that Tackey (the bad guy) will somehow be forced to be the reluctant hero. Something like that. Just my guess. It’s still airing now and even though in my opinion it doesn’t live up to its billing of being a ‘speedy suspense’ (well, it’s a Japanese drama after all) and that Ryo looks way too young to be a homeroom teacher, I’ll root for the two leads because of the actors.

I’m posting this to remind my sister to watch it asap. Are you reading this? huh? It’s one of my faves (because Takky’s role is evil here. haha) and the piano pieces are awesome. They don’t make dramas this good anymore.
OK, OK, this goes into the list I’m watching. TODAY. *makes mental note* Even though the book’s written by that Ishihara guy (I intended to read it when I’m in sg). Good chance to pick up good Japanese vocab too. And I didn’t realise the theme song is kiseki! I haven’t watched that many Takky dramas, but those that I’ve watched are all good. And, it’s the season of the sun. ;)
